Discover the Homestead! The Homestead Act opened Dakota Territory for settlement to people from all over the world. From the 1870's - 1900 thousands came, building homes, farms, and communities. Discover how they traveled, how they obtained land, how they build their homes. We'll look at their successes, and their tragedies and learn about living, growing, and prospering.
