Ribbon Cutting - LifeServe Blood Center

Join the Connect Mitchell Committee of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce for another Ribbon Cutting at LifeServe Blood Center on Monday, June 12 at 3 p.m.

LifeServe Blood Center provides blood products to 157 hospitals in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, including Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell! As a supplier to eastern South Dakota hospitals since 2004, LifeServe Blood Center expanded their South Dakota reach in 2022 by partnering with more community hospitals, opening new donor centers, and establishing wider donor bases to support the local blood supply in neighborhoods from Yankton to Fort Pierre. The Mitchell Donor Center, which relocated to a new, larger facility, opened to donors in December 2022.
