National Cancer Survivors Day Event
The Avera Cancer Institute in Mitchell will be hosting a National Cancer Survivors Day event starting at 5 p.m. Friday, June 2, in front of the Corn Palace as part of the evening's First Friday activities. Cancer patients, cancer survivors and their family members can plant flower seeds in small plastic pots donated by M&M Greenhouse and take them home. All are welcome to show their support for cancer patients and survivors.
