George McGovern Day
Join Dakota Wesleyan University to commemorate Sen. George McGovern's 100th birthday and the 50th anniversary of his historic 1972 Presidential campaign. FEATURED SPEAKER: McGovern biographer Thomas Knock, author of "The Rise of a Prairie Statesman: The Life and Times of George McGovern" and the forthcoming Volume 2. Events will be happening all day, including campus tours, special speakers, birthday cake, and an evening banquet. Guests from across the political spectrum will share stories of the late senator and campaign insights.
