First Fridays on Main Street

1st Fridays has gone to the dogs!  Join us for The Dog Days of Summer, a dog-friendly 1st Fridays event on Main Street from 5-9.  Bring your pup and meet us at 6th and Main in the Corn Palace Plaza for live music from the Starfire Band, live animal search and rescue, obedience, and agility demonstrations, games for humans and their pooches to enjoy with chances to win prizes from Ed's Pet World and Coborn's, kiddie pools to cool off in, and our food vendors will even have a pet menu!  Cornerstone Too has you covered for dessert with buy a scoop for you, get a pup cup free!  Fur Get Me Not Animal Rescue, Purr and Ruff Rescue, and Mitchell Animal Rescue will be on hand as well as several other non-profit organizations, including Cruisin' for a Cause and Thirsty's, who will be selling lemonade to benefit the Mitchell Area Safe House, Wausau Homes to promote The Caring Closet, and Habitat for Humanity.  Please, no retractable leashes, and keep your dog on a 6' leash for everyone's safety.
