Downtown Thursdays

Come one, come all! Everyone is invited to experience a brand new event in downtown Mitchell! Mitchell Main Street & Beyond will be hosting a summer concert series every Thursday throughout the summer! Downtown Thursdays will kick off on June 4 and will continue every Thursday through Aug. 20. Live music will be performing on the new Corn Palace balcony. Lots of family activities will be available, including: face painting, sidewalk chalking, lego building, coloring contests, bean bag toss, giant Jenga, balloon tying, bubble blowing, bike and pet parades, Cornelius appearances, and various other activities! Cornerstone Too will be selling their famous hand-dipped ice cream, fruit smoothies, blended coffee drinks. Wine and/or beer will be available for purchase at the Scoreboard Pub & Grille. Big Daddy's BBQ Catering food truck will be onsite every Thursday for you to purchase an array of delicious food!  Please bring your friends and family to Downtown Thursdays in support and enjoyment of this brand new, exciting, weekly event!
