Corn Palace Plaza Ribbon Cutting

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting for the brand new Corn Palace Plaza on Thursday, July 2 at 3 p.m. We'll hear from Mayor Bob Everson, City Administrator Stephanie Ellwein and Corn Palace Director Doug Greenway. The Plaza was originally constructed three years ago, but recently underwent a major renovation including adding a permanent stage.

The purpose of the Corn Palace Plaza is to become the "city square" of downtown Mitchell. A place where events can be held year round or become a gathering or meeting place. Concerts, Farmers Market, special recognitions, Christmas at the Palace, and rental space for private parties are just a few events that the Plaza will be perfect for.
