Mitchell Main Street & Beyond will be hosting a simple social media seminar for small businesses on Tuesday, May 8th to talk about the use of social media and free internet resources in relation to building a customer base and changes in advertising techniques. The event is free to MMSB members and only $25 per business for non-members. 8:00-9:30 - Facebook: create and make the most of your Facebook profile page, including the new Timeline and insights. 9:30-11:00 - Google: Understanding the free Google apps available and how they integrate into business. 2:00-3:30 - Extending your customer base with tools from Pinterest, 4square, Twitter, and more. 3:30-5 - Websites: A website can be intimidating. Learn how to simplify your online presence using key components.
