An Evening of Songs and Sweets

The Mitchell Area Children's Choir is a children's choir based in Mitchell, but including choristers from the surrounding communities, and is open to children grades three through eight. The MACC is affiliated with Dakota Wesleyan University and performs with the DWU choirs at their concerts as well as solo concerts and various community/state functions. On Saturday, April 30th at 7 pm, the MACC with be presenting "An Evening of Songs and Sweets" at the Mitchell Wesleyan Church. Desserts and refreshments will be served, along with entertainment from the MACC. Proceeds from this event with go toward travel expenses for the choir to take a trip this summer, where they have been asked to sing the National Anthem at a Twins game on June 11th. They will also be performing at Valley Fair during that same trip.
