Ag-In-The-Classroom

The Chamber Agri-Business Committee will be hosting its annual Ag-in-the-Classroom on Thursday, March 8 at the Davison County Fairgrounds. Ag-in-the-Classroom is offered to 4th graders from Mitchell and area schools. It is an opportunity for students to learn about farm animals such as dairy, beef, horses, sheep and pigs. In addition to the animals, they also learn about soil, crops and the importance of safety around electricity and farm machinery. The event is sponsored by Agronomy Plus, Big Green/MJ Aviation, Central Electric Cooperative, Farmer's Alliance, Farm Credit Services of America, and First Dakota National Bank.
