6th Annual Mitchell Elks Fishing Derby

The Mitchell Elks will be holding their 6th Annual Youth Fishing Derby on February 11th on Lake Mitchell at the Sportsmen's Club, Indian Village Road. REgistration will be held from 8:30am to 9:30am. This tournament is free to all youth from ages 2 through 20. There will be a safety briefing before the tournament for all contestants. Holes will be predrilled. The ice will be verified as safe before any contestents go out on the lake.

There will be over $4,000 in prizes donated by Mitchell businesses and the Mitchell Elks. The Sportmen's Club will be open from 8:30am until the conclusion of the derby. The facility is heated for those that would like to warm up and get a bite to eat. There will be sloppy joe's, brat burgers, chips, soda, hot chocolate, and coffee for anyone that attends. Everythin gis free, there is absolutely no charge to anyone that shows up (Parents included).
